Daily Scripture: 2 Corinthians 1:5

2 Corinthians 1:5
Because Christ suffered so much for us, we can receive so much comfort from him.

This scripture makes me feel so alive. I believe this scripture explains that Christ gave his life for me to gain everlasting life. It also tells me that God gave this as a gift for us to know he loves us unconditional love. That means no matter what you do here, longs you pray and ask forgiveness and you'll receive the Holy Ghost and it will tell you of such a great gift God gave for us. He gave up his only son to die for our sins. What a wonderful gift Christ gave for us to join God one day...

Romans 8:1-11 Daily Scripture

So those who are believers in Christ Jesus can no longer be condemned. The standards of the Spirit, who gives life through Christ Jesus, have set you free from the standards of sin and death. It is impossible to do what God’s standards demand because of the weakness our human nature has. But God sent his Son to have a human nature as sinners have and to pay for sin. That way God condemned sin in our corrupt nature. Therefore, we, who do not live by our corrupt nature but by our spiritual nature, are able to meet God’s standards.

Those who live by the corrupt nature have the corrupt nature’s attitude. But those who live by the spiritual nature have the spiritual nature’s attitude. The corrupt nature’s attitude leads to death. But the spiritual nature’s attitude leads to life and peace. This is so because the corrupt nature has a hostile attitude toward God. It refuses to place itself under the authority of God’s standards because it can’t. Those who are under the control of the corrupt nature can’t please God. But if God’s Spirit lives in you, you are under the control of your spiritual nature, not your corrupt nature.

Whoever doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ doesn’t belong to him. However, if Christ lives in you, your bodies are dead because of sin, but your spirits are alive because you have God’s approval. Does the Spirit of the one who brought Jesus back to life live in you? Then the one who brought Christ back to life will also make your mortal bodies alive by his Spirit who lives in you.

This scripture tells me, that I have to have the spirit of God, the Holy Ghost living and breathing inside my body, soul, heart and strength. I believe I do have the Holy Ghost living inside. I pray daily for this spirit of God to lead my path, let me know what is right, and what is not. I feel God guiding spirit living, and dwelling inside my soul and heart.

Remember: to pray daily, you need to have God living, and breathing inside. Without God's guiding spirit within your, you're going to fail at every thing you try and do!

Our Father - Prayer

Our Father

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

What does saying this prayer mean to you? Do you prayer daily, weekly, so on? Do you trust in God to answer prayer?

Saying the Our Father helps me connect with God. it lets me meditate and come into a peaceful time, a chatting line from my mind and heart to his listening ear. I love praying and I find God is constantly with me. I let him into my heart daily, and more like hourly if I have the time. The thing is we all need to have time, make time to commune with God and let him know we think of him every minute of the day. Without him, we are alone, and can be tempted by Satan, the Devil. Satan is there, tempting us each minute of the day. If we aren't in tuned with God, Satan can latch onto us and lead us astray. Remember to keep mindful and in tune with God. For GOD and CHRIST are the only way to salvation and everlasting life...

Exodus 35:30 to 36:1 Daily Scripture

Exodus 35:30-36:1 (GOD’S WORD Translation)
Then Moses said to the Israelites, “The Lord has chosen Bezalel, son of Uri and grandson of Hur, from the tribe of Judah. The Lord has filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God, making him highly skilled, resourceful, and knowledgeable in all trades. 32He’s a master artist familiar with gold, silver, and bronze. He knows how to cut and set stones and how to work with wood. He’s an expert in all trades. Also, the Lord has given Bezalel and Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan the ability to teach others. The Lord has made these men highly skilled in all trades. They can do the work of jewelers, carpenters, and designers. They know how to embroider violet, purple and bright red yarn on fine linen. They know how to weave yarn on a loom. They can do all kinds of trades. They are master artists.”

Exodus 36
Moses continued, “So Bezalel and Oholiab will do the work as the Lord has commanded. They will do this with the help of every other craftsman to whom the Lord has given the necessary skills and talents. They will know how to do all the work for constructing the holy place.”

This scripture speaks to me in a few ways. First it talks about the many different gifts the people of Israel. They they are guided by God to build a sacred home of where they can commune with God and offer sacrifices and so on.  I believe God to this very day give us all gifts, we just have to use them right and thank him for his mercy and love. Because without God we are lost in the wilderness and have no direction. He is our Guide in this world, this earth is where we commune and live. Thank God for his graces and pray one day we will understand what Christ gave up for us. He gave his whole life to pay the price for our sins. It's this wonderful. I believe it is. Plus we are given gifts, gifts and talents for what we do each day of our lives.

My talent s writing and reading his word and posting my thoughts on what I interpret from the Bible...
Remember to thank God for your many gifts you receive from him.

1 Samuel 12:24 - Daily Scripture

2 Samuel 12:24
Fear the Lord, and serve him sincerely. Consider the great things he did for you.

I've been pondering this scripture all day and reading over and over many times during the day and into the early evening.  It tells me that we have to acknowledge God and our savior, remember the good he has given us. Say a prayer of thanks to God when we receive what we want. Pray for guidance and help when we lack wisdom, faith and trust in him and our earthly family.

He has set us here on earth to lead others towards him. To thank him every single day. I thank God for the food on my table, the clothes on my back and all the friends and family I have here in America. For those who don't know me, I was born in Chatham, Kent England. I had a rather mixed up beginning to life. But for the last five years and a couple of days. I arrived in Indy back in October 2005. Now it's October 2010 and I've just celebrated the fifth year here. It will be my fifth year anniversary of my marriage to my partner on 10th November.

With God's Guidance or Without God's Guidance

Without God's Guidance
Without having God to guide you in your daily life, is not a good prospect. When I sit on the couch and switch my laptop on ad get writing or watching TV etc, I get no inspiration to write or whatever I plan on doing during the day. I lack guidance and I waste the day away. Also my depression rises to escalating levels and I feel suicidal and I'm at rock bottom. I have a few mental health issues and people who know me I suffer intense pain levels in my legs, knees, lower back, plus my asthma and epilepsy are bad too.

With God's Guidance
I pray for God's guidance and inspiration in my daily life. After prayer, I study God's word, the Bible. After this I have breakfast and then turn on my computer and check emails, and chat to friends while I research about a story I want to write, plus write with guidance from God to let me write my current story. I'm always busy and focused when I have let God into my heart for that day.

Remember: with God in your heart, soul and mind you are not ready for the day ahead. Talk to him, ask him into your heart, mind and soul. Let him guide your every minute each day...
